Very interesting blog. Especially since all three lead to success in life and the workplace.

  • When a person is not resilient, they are quicker to not follow-through, quick, or become frustrated with things that can be achieved with a few adjustments in attitude and perspective.
  • When a person is responsible, the understand that their failure to act does effect others and that it is crucial that they do their best. Whether it be in the workplace, on the street, financially, or raising a child.
  • When a person is resourceful, they actively seek alternatives to getting something done when the normal route is not available.
  • When a person is respectful, they are responsible, and understand that respect means different things to different people. Therefore, they ask when in doubt.
  • Understanding that building relationships are the key to any situation. It's is a lot easier to deliver bad news when you have a relationship with someone. Plus, they are more likely to actively work with you to find a suitable solution to the problem.
  • Reading skills are a MUST! Many people cannot afford to go to college and/or participate in high end professional development. When we actively read for pleasure and for professional development we expand our knowledge and improve our skills through a means that can be effortless. It only requires that you give it an hour or two a day.
