There are times I feel my survival is at stake. Not life, but spirit. Surviving requires you hold firm to what you know is right. Surviving is never letter another kill your spirit for your life’s work. Surviving requires you to never forget when life was seriously against you. Surviving means you must always fill the dismissals, snicks, and other things with joy. Surviving is remembering that are deep lessons in frustrations and inequities. Surviving is remembering that the gifts you bestow on another matter. Surviving is always remembering there will be those who will use your words against you, but in the next 5 years that moment will have little impact on your legacy on Earth.
As I reflect on the upcoming changes in my life and work I am reminder the importance of embracing change. Change by its definition is according to Google is to make or become different. Every changing of the guard, changing in our health, and general changes in our life are opportunities to do something different. Move outside the norm and into the unknown. When resist change, we are most likely living in fear. Doing so limits our mindset and our ability to be a part of the change and often we become a part of the problem. Let's break it down by each letter to see the comparisons. B logs vs. Term Papers - NYTimes .com Very Interesting and something to consider. The use of blog instead of a term paper could get help to get student serious about using technology appropriately, for a real purpose, and provide a place where students can dialogue about a central theme. Personally, I am in the middle on this issue. I think both have a place in school and can help students to think creatively. The only concerns I have with blogs is that students will need specific guidelines on what should be written in their blog, how it proper grammar and spelling still counts, and that they need to address the question posed to them as well as add additional information.
